Seismic Alert Device
A Seismic Alert Device is a device designed to detect and alert people of an impending seismic event. It is typically composed of a seismometer, which is a device that measures ground motion, and a processor, which is a computer that interprets the data from the seismometer. The processor can then issue an alert when certain criteria are met. This alert can be sent to a variety of devices, such as phones, computers, or speakers. The device can also be programmed to take certain actions, such as shutting off gas lines or activating emergency lighting.
