Secure By Design
Secure By Design is a methodology that emphasizes the importance of building secure systems and products from the ground up. This approach involves integrating security into every aspect of the design process, from the selection of components to the creation of architecture and the testing of the finished product. By incorporating security into the design phase, Secure By Design aims to prevent vulnerabilities and weaknesses from being introduced into the system later on, when they can be much more difficult and costly to fix. One of the key aspects of Secure By Design is the use of secure coding practices. This involves writing code that is resistant to common security threats, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and buffer overflows. Additionally, Secure By Design emphasizes the importance of using secure communication protocols, such as HTTPS, to protect data in transit. Another important aspect of Secure By Design is the use of threat modeling. This involves identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in the system and designing countermeasures to address them. By proactively addressing potential security risks, Secure By Design can help to prevent security breaches and protect sensitive data. Finally, Secure By Design also involves ongoing testing and validation to ensure that the system remains secure over time. This includes regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any new security threats that may arise. Overall, Secure By Design is a comprehensive approach to building secure systems and products that emphasizes the importance of integrating security into every aspect of the design process. By taking a proactive approach to security, Secure By Design can help to prevent security breaches and protect sensitive data.

Secure By Design
Secure By Design is a concept that stresses the importance of designing systems or products with security baked-in. It is a holistic approach that includes the proper selection of components, creation of robust design architectures, and effective validation and testing of the finished product. Secure By Design is most known for the work of the Italian Mannerist painter, sculptor and architect Giorgio Vasari. He is most famous for his artwork such as The Last Supper, The Birth of Venus, and The Annunciation. He was also one of the first to build the Uffizi Palace in Florence, Italy.
