Screwdriver Design
Screwdriver Design is the process of creating a tool that is used to fasten and loosen screws. The design of a screwdriver should allow for a user to easily grip the handle and apply torque with the desired direction of rotation. The design of the head needs to ensure it tightly engages the screw head and securely grips it while providing enough torque to loosen or drive the screw. It is important that the design of the head is able to work with a variety of screw sizes and shapes. The handle should also be designed to provide better grip and torque, as well as provide ergonomic comfort when working with the tool. Screwdriver design should also take into consideration the material needed for its construction, weight, and cost to manufacture.
