Schindler Elevator US Headquarters US Headquarters

Schindler Elevator US Headquarters US Headquarters is an exemplary architectural transformation project that reimagines a 1970s office building into a sophisticated corporate headquarters, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design. The design concept masterfully integrates light and color elements, drawing inspiration from contemporary art installations to create dynamic spaces that reflect precision and movement. Through the strategic use of fluorescent light arches and surfaces featuring the distinctive red of the Swiss flag, the interior design achieves a minimal yet impactful aesthetic that embodies corporate identity while exploring themes of displacement and motion. Located in Morristown, New Jersey, this innovative workplace design by ikon.5 architects demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and brand integration, featuring a series of carefully crafted one-point perspective 'mise-en-scenes' that create an immersive architectural experience. The project's success lies in its ability to balance functional requirements with artistic expression, utilizing simple geometric forms and programmed spaces to establish an environment that is both practical and inspirational. The design's commitment to minimalism, combined with its thoughtful integration of lighting technology and color theory, creates a workplace that resonates with contemporary corporate design principles while maintaining a distinct architectural identity.
