Sandalwood Sales Offices Sales Offices
Sandalwood Sales Offices Sales Offices is an exemplary architectural and interior design project completed in 2016 in Chengdu, China, that masterfully integrates contemporary design elements with cultural symbolism. The 1,017-square-meter space showcases a sophisticated composition of rectangular glass curtain walls and steel structure, creating a striking exterior presence while maintaining visual transparency. The interior design demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through the extensive use of dolomite marble and white-colored finishes, establishing a cohesive and elegant atmosphere throughout the space. A distinctive feature of the design is the matt black staircase connecting the ground and first floors, whose form draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese dragon motif, symbolizing prosperity and upward mobility. The spatial organization follows an open-plan concept, with strategically positioned discussion and display areas at opposite ends to facilitate natural interaction and flow. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, exemplifies innovative space utilization and demonstrates remarkable integration between architectural and interior elements. The design's sophisticated lighting scheme, incorporating cloud-like hanging fixtures, complements the marble surfaces to create an atmosphere of refined elegance. This harmonious blend of contemporary design principles with symbolic elements represents a significant achievement in commercial interior architecture, setting new standards for sales office design through its thoughtful combination of functionality, aesthetics, and cultural resonance.
