Sanbao Yacht Interior
Sanbao Yacht Interior is a sophisticated luxury yacht interior design project that exemplifies innovative maritime spatial design through its distinctive circular motifs and harmonious integration with nautical architecture. The 77.5-meter superyacht interior, spanning 960 square meters, draws inspiration from the historical voyages of Zheng He (Ma Sanbao) through the Southeast China Sea, incorporating this rich maritime heritage into its contemporary design language. The interior architecture is characterized by its thoughtful implementation of curved surfaces that mirror the yacht's external form, creating a cohesive design narrative that embraces both the vessel and its oceanic environment. The spatial configuration employs soft, circular arcs throughout its walls, ceilings, and floors, effectively addressing the unique challenges of marine interior design while maintaining aesthetic excellence. The design solution demonstrates exceptional technical prowess in its response to maritime-specific considerations, including metal structure integration, assembled decoration, and long-term seaworthiness. The interior palette features light gray tones complemented by warm wood elements, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury while ensuring practical functionality within the constraints of the 13-meter beam and variable ceiling heights ranging from 2.23 to 2.69 meters. This groundbreaking project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels Design category, represents a significant achievement in luxury marine interior design, particularly notable as one of the first Chinese design studio contributions to super yacht design above 75 meters in length.
