Salon de TE 2016 Introductory Passageway is an innovative exhibition design concept that transformed a 6000-square-meter space into an immersive space-themed journey for showcasing high-end timepieces. This Silver A' Design Award-winning installation featured a sophisticated combination of architectural elements and multimedia experiences, including two suspended 1.5-meter radius space rock-like rotundas with dynamic motion graphics, four 4.5-meter high arches equipped with video panels, and three 3-meter diameter windows highlighting different exhibition zones. The design's conceptual foundation drew inspiration from space exploration, creating a metaphorical connection between discovering new celestial bodies and encountering exceptional timepieces. The installation employed sustainable design practices through the use of lightweight, reusable aluminum systems, biodegradable carpets, and hired audio-visual equipment, demonstrating environmental consciousness while maintaining aesthetic excellence. The passageway culminated in a versatile 40-square-meter stage platform with a video panel backdrop, serving multiple functions from product presentations to informal gathering spaces. This architectural narrative successfully created a transitional experience through careful consideration of lighting, multimedia content, and spatial flow, effectively distinguishing the public exhibition area while maintaining professional sophistication and technological innovation.
