Sa.De.01 Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that exemplifies organic form-finding in contemporary design, created by Belgian designer Sarah Dehandschutter. The design features a distinctive asymmetric chalice form achieved by stretching fabric over a curved rod, resulting in a naturally elegant shape that appears to be in perpetual motion when viewed from different angles. The lamp's structure is reproduced using reinforced gypsum in a double mold technique, incorporating glass fiber for durability. The interior surface features an opaque white finish that creates an engaging interplay of light and shadow, producing a mesmerizing chiaroscuro effect that emphasizes the lamp's fluid form. Measuring 580mm x 660mm x 680mm, the fixture is suspended by a carefully engineered metal bar that maintains perfect balance while allowing for height adjustment.
