This Bronze A' Design Award-winning interior space, spanning 643 square meters across two floors, represents a sophisticated interpretation of runner-centric architecture that bridges Shanghai's distinctive urban landscape. The design concept draws inspiration from the city's architectural dichotomy, with the first and second floors symbolically representing Puxi and Pudong districts, connected by a central staircase that serves as both a functional element and a metaphorical bridge between the city's eastern and western sectors. The facility's distinctive orange color scheme, chosen to evoke the energetic atmosphere of dawn and dusk running sessions, is complemented by an industrial-urban material palette including metal grids, acoustic fiber boards, and concrete, juxtaposed with contemporary elements such as orange acrylic and frosted metal boards. The first floor functions as a retail space, while the second floor houses a multifunctional area featuring professional sports training facilities, LED screen interactive spaces, exercise zones, and premium membership amenities including shower facilities. A notable innovation in the design is the implementation of moveable metal grid display boards, traditionally used for drainage covers, which can be reconfigured according to seasonal requirements, demonstrating an ingenious fusion of functionality and adaptability. The interior architecture emphasizes the promotion of an urban, healthy, and avant-garde lifestyle, while the thoughtful integration of materials and spatial planning creates an environment that resonates with the modern runner's needs and aspirations.
