Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments Aparthotel
Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments Aparthotel is a pioneering hybrid hospitality concept that seamlessly integrates luxury hotel amenities with residential comfort and professional workspace functionality, situated in Warsaw, Poland. This innovative aparthotel, completed in 2022, draws profound inspiration from Warsaw's rich architectural heritage, particularly the city's golden age of the 1920s when it was known as the Paris of the North. The design concept ingeniously transforms the building into a metaphorical map of Warsaw, with each space thoughtfully corresponding to different city districts. The ground floor serves as an architectural narrative, featuring distinct areas that pay homage to notable Warsaw districts: the cafe represents Wola, the reception area embodies Srodmiescie, while the bar, restaurant, and garden spaces reflect Powisle, Zoliborz, and Praga respectively. Spanning 16 floors with 312 rooms across approximately 10,000 square meters of guest space and 2,100 square meters of common areas, the interior design masterfully incorporates historical references while maintaining contemporary functionality. The project's sophisticated design approach extends to the conference areas on the first floor, which reference the well-known Varsavian style, complemented by modern fitness and spa facilities. The apartment floors, from the second to the sixteenth, continue the district-inspired theme, featuring design elements that echo the distinctive characteristics of Zoliborz, Mokotow, Ochota, Saska Kepa, and Powisle. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category stands out for its exceptional ability to create a vibrant community space that bridges the gap between temporary accommodation and local culture, successfully revitalizing a previously overlooked urban area while maintaining strong connections to Warsaw's architectural and cultural heritage.
