Rose Sofia Logo

Rose Sofia Logo

Rose Sofia Logo is a sophisticated visual identity design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of historical architectural elements with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities. Created by Bulgarian designer Ivan Radev, this logomark masterfully integrates the symbolism of a rose with the monumental architectural style of the early 20th century, particularly drawing inspiration from the authentic architectural features of Sofia's historic center. The design, which garnered a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its interpretation of classical architectural elements such as arches, ovals, and decorative volutes, transformed into an elegant rose motif. The logo's versatile implementation spans various materials and technologies, including stone signage with CNC routing and back-lighting, a custom-designed chandelier featuring laser-cut steel components with LED illumination, and an artistic wall installation composed of numerous fabric roses. This multifaceted approach to implementation showcases the logo's adaptability while maintaining its core aesthetic integrity. The design successfully bridges the connection between Bulgaria's renowned rose cultivation heritage and contemporary social spaces, creating a memorable visual identifier that resonates with both historical context and modern sensibilities. The logo's implementation across different mediums and scales demonstrates its versatility and thoughtful consideration of practical applications, while its clear, intelligible design ensures effective communication and brand recognition.
