Rongbaohang BMW 5S Store
Rongbaohang BMW 5S Store is an innovative automotive retail space and exhibition center located in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin, distinguished by its sophisticated architectural design that seamlessly integrates water elements and dynamic motion concepts. The facility, completed in January 2023, encompasses a total area of 3,496 square meters and represents a significant advancement in automotive retail design. The space features a revolutionary circular motion line concept that guides visitors through the facility, with striking blue acrylic transparent panels adorning the ceilings of both floors, symbolizing both the dynamic trajectory of performance vehicles and flowing water ripples. The design incorporates sustainable principles throughout, including an optimized lighting system integrated with wooden grilles at high windows, creating an elegant interplay of natural and artificial light. The space underwent a strategic reorganization that expanded the customer lounge area by 30% to 899 square meters while maintaining an efficient 1,170-square-meter vehicle display area. A sophisticated water curtain and pool system serves as a central design element, requiring advanced calculations for temperature control, flow rate, and waveform parameters. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, showcases innovative solutions in both aesthetics and functionality, particularly in its cost-effective approach to implementing large-scale acrylic installations and its ceremony-focused new car delivery workshop, which features a dramatic reveal mechanism that enhances the customer experience.
