He was born in Madrid in 1899 and began his artistic training at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. Redondo's work is characterized by its bold use of color and dynamic brushstrokes, which give his paintings a sense of movement and energy. He was also interested in exploring the texture of his materials, and many of his paintings have a tactile quality that invites the viewer to touch them. In addition to his paintings, Redondo was also an important figure in the teaching of art theory, and he wrote extensively on the subject. Despite his contributions to the development of modern art in Spain, Redondo's work was not widely recognized during his lifetime. It was not until after his death in 1969 that his paintings began to receive the attention they deserved. Today, Redondo is considered one of the most important Spanish artists of the twentieth century, and his work is highly sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts around the world.
