Rhythm Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies modern spatial design principles through its dynamic integration of form and function. Located in Changshu, China, this 1,050-square-meter commercial space represents a sophisticated interpretation of urban spirit through contemporary design language. The project, completed in 2019, features a distinctive exterior characterized by simple, free-flowing curve lines and textured reflective glass that creates an engaging dialogue with its surrounding urban landscape. The interior design employs an intricate interplay of grey and white rhythmic elements that serve both decorative and functional purposes, effectively connecting and delineating spaces across its two floors. The design philosophy centers on breaking away from traditional rectilinear spatial arrangements, instead utilizing geometric shapes and undulating forms to create a more dynamic and engaging environment. The project's material palette combines several varieties of marble with precisely crafted wooden elements to create geometric elevations, demanding exceptional craftsmanship in its execution. This innovative approach to commercial space design earned recognition through the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design, material selection, and innovative architectural solutions. The project, designed by Kris Lin and Jiayu Yang, successfully transforms the conventional sales center typology into a floating light box that serves as both a visual focal point and a functional commercial space, effectively promoting the development project while creating a distinctive landmark within the urban fabric.
