Restelo Living Space
Restelo Living Space is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully demonstrates contemporary minimalist aesthetics and sophisticated urban living concepts. Located in Lisbon, Portugal, this meticulously crafted villa interior spans multiple levels and showcases an innovative approach to open-plan living, featuring a seamless integration of social and private spaces. The design's centerpiece is a remarkable two-story custom-made bookcase that serves as both a functional storage solution and an architectural element connecting the living room with the home office above. The interior architecture employs a refined material palette, incorporating dark-toned wood, sophisticated textiles, and carefully selected furnishings to create an atmosphere of understated luxury. The living space, encompassing 78.89 square meters, is thoughtfully divided into distinct zones that facilitate both entertainment and relaxation, with particular attention paid to maximizing natural light and garden views. The project, completed in 2020, exemplifies biophilic design principles through its organic integration of natural elements and refined architectural lines. The sophisticated interior earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design solutions. The project's success lies in its ability to maintain a delicate balance between architectural refinement and residential comfort, achieved through custom-designed elements including bespoke carpets, carefully curated furniture, and strategically placed decorative features.
