Resilient Landscape
Resilient Landscape is a design approach in Eco Urbanism that uses green spaces and water systems to help cities handle heavy rain, heat, and changes in weather. Designers use plants, soil, and simple water channels to slow down and clean rainwater before it reaches drains. This method helps lower city temperatures, gives people more places to enjoy nature, and supports birds and insects. By using local plants and materials, these landscapes need less care and use less water. Designers often place these green areas near busy streets and buildings to make cities cooler and more comfortable for everyone.
