Residence Of Hung Residential House

Residence Of Hung Residential House

Residence of Hung Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully addresses the challenges of contemporary urban living in Taiwan through innovative spatial planning and thoughtful design solutions. Located within Taiwan's densely populated urban landscape, this residential transformation showcases a sophisticated approach to maximizing living space efficiency while maintaining a harmonious balance between public gathering areas and private spaces. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space Design category, features a revolutionary open layout achieved by strategically dismantling one of the original four rooms to create a multi-functional space with glass sliding doors. This adaptable area can seamlessly transition from a private study to an expanded living space capable of accommodating more than 15 people, demonstrating exceptional versatility in spatial utilization. The interior aesthetic is characterized by a carefully curated material palette, including white ceilings, wood pattern flooring, and concrete elements, while distinctive wall treatments define different zones - featuring red brick in the living room, green walls in the study, and light blue accents in the storage areas. The kitchen space incorporates an industrial-style blue brick island that effectively delineates the culinary zone while maintaining visual connectivity with the dining area. The design's sophistication is further enhanced through the thoughtful integration of succulent plants throughout the space, creating a natural harmony between the built environment and organic elements, while the vintage industrial elements are softened by hippie country color accents to maintain a welcoming residential atmosphere.
