Rescue Flares

Rescue Flares

Rescue flares, also known as distress signals or emergency flares, are pyrotechnic devices used to signal for help in emergency situations. These flares are typically used by individuals or groups who are lost, stranded, or in need of rescue in remote or hard-to-reach locations. Rescue flares are designed to produce a bright and visible light that can be seen from a distance, even in low light or nighttime conditions. There are several types of rescue flares available, including handheld flares, parachute flares, and smoke flares. Handheld flares are small, portable devices that can be easily carried in a backpack or emergency kit. Parachute flares are larger devices that are designed to be launched into the air, where they will slowly descend while emitting a bright light. Smoke flares produce a thick cloud of colored smoke, which can be used to signal for help or to mark a location. Rescue flares are an essential tool for anyone who spends time in remote or wilderness areas, including hikers, campers, boaters, and pilots. They are also commonly used by military personnel and search and rescue teams. It is important to note that rescue flares should only be used in emergency situations, as they can be dangerous if not handled properly.
