Relax Coffee Set is an innovative tableware design that seamlessly combines industrial concrete and delicate porcelain to create a meaningful coffee-drinking experience focused on nurturing interpersonal relationships. Created by designer Rebeka Pakozdi, this thoughtfully crafted ensemble consists of porcelain cups, a sugar bowl, and a milk jug that interact with a concrete tray in a way that encourages social connection. The distinctive feature of this design lies in its interdependent components - the porcelain cups cannot stand independently and must be placed in their designated spots on the concrete tray, creating a physical metaphor for human interdependence and connection. The set's dimensions are carefully calculated, with the concrete tray measuring 36 cm in length, 3 cm in height, and 7.4 cm in width, while the porcelain cups hold 120 ml, the sugar bowl 80 ml, and the milk jug 160 ml. The production process involves sophisticated techniques including turning, slipcasting, hand-carving, and multiple firing stages. The contrasting materials - industrial concrete and refined porcelain - create an intentional aesthetic tension that symbolizes the multifaceted nature of human character.
