Recycled Concrete

Recycled Concrete is made by crushing old concrete from buildings or roads and using the pieces to make new concrete or other building materials. When using recycled concrete in new projects, designers can choose different sizes of crushed pieces to change how the finished surface looks and feels. Some designers use larger chunks for garden paths or walls to give a rough, natural look, while smaller pieces can be mixed into new concrete for floors or blocks. Recycled concrete can help save natural resources like sand and gravel because it uses what is already available from old structures, and it can lower the amount of waste sent to landfills. Sometimes, recycled concrete is used as a base layer under roads or pavements, which helps with drainage and keeps the ground stable.
