RB23 Boutique Residence Single Family House

RB23 Boutique Residence Single Family House

RB23 Boutique Residence Single Family House is an innovative contemporary residential architecture project located near Warsaw, Poland, that challenges traditional stereotypes of suburban villas while maintaining the prestige and functionality of a modern residence within a modest 285-square-meter footprint. Designed by architect Pawel Lis, this two-story dwelling exemplifies how contemporary architecture can successfully integrate luxury living within a compact space, demonstrating exceptional space utilization and architectural ingenuity. The structure's distinctive composition features three rectangular clinker solids arranged in a dynamic configuration, with its most notable architectural element being a wide, narrow window on the front facade that is elegantly recessed into the first floor's volume, drawing inspiration from traditional forest pulpits while maintaining a vigilant connection with its woodland surroundings. The residence incorporates high-quality construction materials, including monolithic ceilings, brick walls, and aluminum-framed windows, topped with a sheet metal roof and facades adorned with clinker tiles. The interior layout thoughtfully separates day and night zones, accommodating individual rooms for all household members, three bathrooms, a home office, and a guest room, while the ground floor seamlessly transitions from living spaces to a relaxation area that culminates in a terrace with a compact heated swimming pool. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category demonstrates how modern residential architecture can successfully challenge conventional norms while delivering sophisticated living spaces that harmoniously blend with their natural environment.
