Quench and Blossom Office is an innovative corporate headquarters interior design project completed in 2018, encompassing 776.9 square meters within a premium commercial building in Taipei City. The design represents a significant departure from conventional Taiwanese office layouts, embodying a sophisticated fusion of fashion and technology that articulates the client's half-century heritage in the lighting industry. The spatial concept draws inspiration from the intense craftsmanship of ironsmith workshops, symbolically representing corporate drive and innovation through carefully considered design elements. The entrance features a distinctive reception counter based on the anvil motif, which ingeniously integrates with the corporate logo while incorporating dynamic lighting effects that simulate metalworking sparks. The interior employs a thoughtful material palette of glass, marble, and carpet, with reflective surfaces complementing marble flooring to create an enhanced sense of space despite building height constraints. The layout consolidates previously scattered departments onto a single floor, with glass-walled offices strategically positioned to optimize communication flow. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, showcases exceptional attention to functionality through its systematic storage solutions and open-plan staff areas, while maintaining visual transparency through glass-box meeting rooms that balance openness with privacy requirements. The project's success lies in its ability to challenge traditional office design paradigms while creating a space that effectively communicates brand identity through architectural elements.
