This groundbreaking approach to soap design addresses common hygiene concerns by incorporating a segmented structure that enables users to break off precisely measured portions for individual use, similar to separating chocolate squares. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design category, features carefully calculated dimensions of 100x60x25 millimeters and employs a specialized manufacturing process where fats and sodium hydroxide are co-cooked and hydrolyzed into higher fatty acid sodium and glycerin before being molded into the characteristic sectioned form. The innovative design not only promotes better hygiene by eliminating the need for repeated handling of a single large soap bar but also enhances the user experience by transforming a mundane daily ritual into an engaging interaction. The product's development, completed in Shunde during 2019, emerged from extensive research into bathing utensil safety and hygiene concerns, offering a solution that leverages unconscious design principles to modify user behavior naturally.
