Qin Garden Holiday Villa

Qin Garden Holiday Villa

Qin Garden Holiday Villa is an innovative architectural masterpiece that reimagines the concept of traditional holiday residences by incorporating a unique ancestral hall component, designed by the acclaimed architect Shuai Wang. This distinguished residential project, completed in 2018 in Taizhou, China, represents a harmonious blend of contemporary living spaces and cultural preservation, expanding from an original 140 square meters to a comprehensive 371 square meters of built area. The villa's distinctive design philosophy centers on creating a multi-functional space that serves both as a holiday retreat and a family museum, featuring an ancestral hall that transcends its traditional role of ancestor worship to become a curated space for displaying historical family artifacts and furniture. The architectural composition employs high-quality materials including premium cement, oak, and rubber wood, complemented by sophisticated FLUA illumination systems and aluminum plate details. Notable features include an innovative solar lighting system integrated into the courtyard walls, which not only provides ambient illumination but also serves a practical purpose by supplementing the village's street lighting. The project, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in spatial design, incorporating areas for accommodation, family gatherings, and children's activities. The villa's design emphasizes sustainability and functionality while maintaining strong connections to cultural heritage, exemplifying how modern architectural solutions can preserve and enhance traditional values in contemporary contexts.
