This meticulously crafted calendar, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Graphics and Visual Communication Design category, showcases advanced security printing techniques through twelve distinct pages that demonstrate various security features commonly used in official documents and currency. The calendar's design employs an extensive array of specialized printing methods, including offset CMYK, Pantone colors, hot foil stamping, die cutting, silk screen printing, and blind embossing, all executed on diverse premium paper stocks ranging from 160g to 420g weights. Notable among these is the incorporation of authentic security paper featuring watermarks, typically reserved for official document production. The calendar's dimensions measure 480mm x 225mm when closed and 480mm x 450mm when open, presenting a sophisticated format that effectively showcases the intricate security features and printing techniques. Each monthly spread serves as a masterclass in security printing, incorporating elements such as microlettering, latent images, recto-verso printing, and various other sophisticated security features, all while maintaining aesthetic excellence and functional clarity. The project, completed between October and December 2015, represents a remarkable achievement in balancing technical complexity with artistic vision, effectively transforming security printing elements into engaging visual compositions that demonstrate the intersection of functional security features and artistic design.
