Pucks Blue Private Homes

Pucks Blue Private Homes

Pucks Blue Private Homes is an avant-garde residential interior design project completed in 2022, located in Dibao, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China, encompassing 410 square meters of living space that revolutionizes traditional spatial arrangements through its innovative approach to modern living. The design, created by architect Changching Chien, masterfully integrates non-traditional spatial ordering and construction layouts to elevate the indoor visual experience and transform everyday living. The project's distinctive feature lies in its use of irregular geometric blocks and the striking interplay of blue and white color schemes, reflecting the residents' contemporary and uninhibited lifestyle choices. The design philosophy emphasizes social interaction through multiple spatial transformations, incorporating diagonal dynamic line relationships and three-dimensional spatial elements that break away from conventional rectangular layouts. The interior's sophisticated implementation includes a skylight ceiling decoration and non-parallel facades that enhance spatial variability, while the careful color blending creates a natural, comfortable texture that resonates with the owner's personal memories and international living experiences. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in creating a flexible, open-plan living environment that seamlessly blends public and private spaces. The design's success lies in its ability to weaken traditional boundary divisions while maintaining functional coherence, achieved through thoughtful tone processing and innovative structural compositions that facilitate a more trendy social experience. The project's artistic merit is further enhanced by its minimalist approach to decoration, relying on color contrast rather than redundant elements to establish the space's inherent character and aesthetic power.
