Public-Voting Evaluation
Public-Voting Evaluation is a method of evaluating designs or products by allowing the general public to vote on them. This approach is often used in design competitions, where participants submit their work and the public is invited to vote on the entries. While public voting can provide valuable insights into the marketability and popularity of designs, it can also be subject to manipulation and may not always produce accurate results. One aspect of Public-Voting Evaluation that has not been previously discussed is the potential for bias in the voting process. The public may be influenced by factors such as the popularity of the designer, the presentation of the design, or even the design's name. This can lead to designs that are not necessarily the best or most innovative winning competitions simply because they are more popular or have a catchy name. Another important consideration in Public-Voting Evaluation is the impact it can have on the designers themselves. While winning a competition can be a great boost to a designer's career, losing can be demoralizing and may discourage them from continuing to pursue their passion. Additionally, designers may feel pressure to create designs that are more likely to win the popular vote, rather than designs that are truly innovative or groundbreaking. Despite these potential drawbacks, Public-Voting Evaluation can still be a valuable tool for designers and companies. By allowing the public to participate in the evaluation process, designers can gain valuable feedback and insights into the marketability of their work. Additionally, public voting can help to build a network of potential customers, clients, and employers, as well as increase the reach and visibility of the competition. Overall, Public-Voting Evaluation is a complex and multifaceted approach to evaluating designs and products. While it has its advantages and disadvantages, it remains a popular method for designers and companies looking to gain insights into the marketability and popularity of their work.

Public-Voting Evaluation
Public-Voting Evaluation is a system that allows people outside of a company or organisation to vote on the quality of products or services. Public-Voting Evaluation
This is a design competition entry evaluation model in which the participants are voted by the public. On one hand, the advantage of vox populi (public voting) assessment is that it turns participants into spammers who advertise the competition of the organizer, furthermore this method allows capturing of preferences of the general public for research or data analysis i.e. as market research. On the other hand, the public voting decreases the prestige and credibility of the competition on the basis that entries are no longer validated by experts, but the general public, which could lack the required knowledge to provide a clear assessments, usually resulting in superficial, presentation based results, but also they make competitions subject to manipulation; i.e. since, in this case, participants are asked to invite others to vote for their designs, (to increase dissemination and reach of the competition) it is also a very likely scenario that designers with more friends (more reach) would win rather than the best design.
