Projection Runway
Projection Runway is a fashion tech concept where digital images or animations are projected onto the runway floor or directly onto garments during live shows, creating changing visual effects that interact with models' movements. Designers use this method to display patterns, textures, or even virtual accessories that do not physically exist on the clothing, allowing for rapid changes in style or mood during a single presentation. This approach can help designers test new ideas without producing multiple physical samples, and it can make each show unique by syncing visuals to music or choreography. Projection mapping software is often used to align the visuals with the models' paths, making the digital effects appear seamless and dynamic in real time.
