Process Analytical Technology
Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is a systematic approach to the design, analysis, control, and improvement of chemical manufacturing processes. Its goal is to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality products while minimizing costs and risks. It makes use of advanced analytics and advanced control systems to monitor and analyze process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, pH, and product properties. This data is then used to optimize process performance and to ensure that products are consistently produced at the desired quality level. PAT can be used to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, to reduce process variability, and to ensure that processes are operating at the optimal conditions for quality production.
