Private Residential Chalet Mountain Seasonal Residence
Private Residential Chalet Mountain Seasonal Residence is an innovative architectural masterpiece situated at the summit of a steep hill, exemplifying sophisticated mountain residential design through its distinctive triangular form and harmonious integration with challenging topography. This seasonal dwelling, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial optimization within a complex triangular plot, featuring a dynamic architectural composition characterized by horizontal and vertical linearity. The structure's exterior showcases a thoughtful material palette of dark and light grey tones complemented by wooden cladding panels, creating a visual dialogue with the surrounding rocky landscape. The design incorporates sustainable elements including double-glazed thermal brake partitions and snow melting systems at balconies, terraces, and entrances, ensuring year-round functionality in extreme mountain conditions. The residence's most striking feature is its angular roof design, which parallels the adjacent road's inclination while serving as a fourth elevation, housing a studio space and technical installations. The integration of green areas across multiple levels, alongside two infinity pools, strengthens the connection between interior and exterior spaces, while carefully positioned windows maintain privacy without compromising the spectacular valley views. This architectural achievement, completed over four years from 2014 to 2018, represents a harmonious blend of practical functionality and aesthetic refinement, establishing itself as a landmark in the prestigious Faqra Club region.
