President 15 Guest House
President 15 Guest House is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of luxury living and eco-conscious design principles. Located in Taichung City, Taiwan, this sophisticated living space was conceptualized and executed by designer Fabio Su, who drew inspiration from clubhouse aesthetics to create a perpetual vacation ambiance for its residents. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully incorporates open-plan living spaces dominated by a white color palette and natural light. The interior's distinctive features include thoughtfully designed display shelves that serve dual functionality for storage and exhibition, showcasing the owner's collections while maintaining spatial efficiency. The project's environmental consciousness is evident in its extensive use of far-infrared wood flooring, which promotes health benefits through enhanced metabolism and blood circulation, while low-formaldehyde building materials demonstrate a commitment to sustainable living. The design's sophisticated material palette includes titanized metal, natural stone, gray glass, and Spanish Majolica tiles, creating a luxurious yet harmonious aesthetic. Completed in April 2022, the 66-ping interior employs innovative techniques such as shadow borrowing and mirror refraction to integrate outdoor landscapes into the interior space, effectively expanding the visual boundaries while maintaining an atmosphere of refined relaxation. The project's success lies in its ability to balance luxury with sustainability, incorporating artistic elements and cultural values while prioritizing the occupants' wellbeing through thoughtful material selection and spatial planning.
