Portable Living Suitcase, Lunchbox, Drawer & Container is an innovative sculptural art installation series that explores the intersection of portable living spaces and everyday storage containers, offering a profound commentary on contemporary lifestyle patterns and spatial inhabitation. This conceptual artwork, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category, consists of five distinct pieces that challenge traditional notions of living spaces through their unique integration of architectural elements within portable containers. The series employs a sophisticated combination of semi-translucent white and fluorescent plexiglas, alongside LEGO components and mirrored surfaces, creating complex interior patterns and optical variations that simulate living spaces within familiar object forms. The collection includes the Diner Lunchbox (203.2 x 114.3 x 228.6 mm), Highrise II (431.8 x 254 x 711.2 mm), Containers (660.4 x 406.4 x 1778 mm), Green Room Drawer (203.2 x 635 x 254 mm), and Mounted House Drawer (406.4 x 406.4 x 203.2 mm), each piece featuring functional elements such as handles, hinges, and storage capabilities. The works utilize fluorescent plexiglas to create electricity-free lighting effects, while mirrored surfaces generate holographic illusions that enhance the spatial complexity. This artistic exploration effectively illustrates the prevalent theme of portable and instant lifestyles in contemporary society, suggesting an innovative interpretation of how living spaces can be conceptualized and contained within everyday objects, while simultaneously commenting on the interchangeable nature of houses and containers as vessels for human existence.
