Poly City Gather Sales Center
Poly City Gather Sales Center is an exemplary architectural and interior design achievement that showcases innovative spatial design principles through its sophisticated integration of natural elements, artistic expression, and functional excellence. Located in Shijiazhuang, China, this 1,250-square-meter sales center, completed in 2022, features a remarkable 12-meter high, 9-meter open atrium crowned by an architecturally significant dome that creates an infinite sense of space and contemplation. The design, conceived by Melody Lau, demonstrates exceptional mastery in balancing functional requirements with aesthetic sophistication, incorporating elements such as a uniquely designed midair corridor that emphasizes natural beauty and freedom of movement. The space is distinguished by its elegant marble vestibule featuring stunning symmetrical patterns, transparent glass partitions, and an innovative curved array of chandeliers that manipulate light as a design medium. The ceiling's distinctive vein pattern, designed as a landscape cycle, creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, while the VIP room employs red tones as emotional touchpoints, complemented by refined details in sidewall textures, metal fireplaces, and ceiling pleats. This exceptional design, which earned the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies the harmonious synthesis of nature, art, architecture, and space, achieving a remarkable balance between functional excellence and artistic expression while establishing new benchmarks in commercial interior design.
