Poly Chief Palace Sales Center is an architecturally significant sales facility that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese cultural elements with industrial design aesthetics, completed in 2019 in Shenyang's Tiexi District. The structure's distinctive facade draws inspiration from the rhythmic proportions of a historic workers' village movie theatre, employing a sophisticated three-part pattern that harmoniously combines Chinese architectural traditions with industrial details to create a commanding presence. The design philosophy incorporates the symbolic Four Treasures of the Study through innovative architectural interpretations: walls represent paper, a moon-like sculpture serves as an inkstone, an infinity pool symbolizes ink, and strategically placed trees embody the brush. The project, spanning 223,035.60 square meters, showcases meticulous attention to detail in its structural elements, featuring carefully considered stylobates, columns, cornices, and frames that are enhanced by industrial components such as metal frameworks and valve assemblies. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category demonstrates exceptional achievement in merging contemporary industrial elements with traditional Chinese architectural language, creating a unique dialogue between historical context and modern functionality. The design successfully preserves and celebrates the industrial heritage of the Tiexi District while establishing a new architectural landmark that reflects both cultural continuity and innovation in urban development.
