Pillow Shams

Pillow Shams

Pillow shams are decorative coverings for pillows that are typically used as a decorative element on a bed. They are often made from the same fabric as the bedding and are designed to complement the overall look of the bed. Pillow shams are typically larger than standard pillowcases and are often square or rectangular in shape. They may have a flange, which is a decorative border around the edges of the sham, or they may be simple and unadorned. Pillow shams are usually used in conjunction with a duvet cover or quilt, and they are placed on top of the pillows that are used for sleeping. They are not designed to be slept on directly, but rather to provide a decorative accent to the bed. Pillow shams can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the overall design of the bedding. They may be placed in front of the sleeping pillows, or they may be arranged in a decorative pattern on top of the bed. One of the advantages of using pillow shams is that they can be easily removed and washed, which makes them a practical choice for those who want to keep their bedding looking fresh and clean. They are also a great way to add color and texture to a bed without having to invest in new bedding. In summary, pillow shams are decorative coverings for pillows that are used to add a decorative element to a bed. They are typically larger than standard pillowcases and are designed to complement the overall look of the bedding. Pillow shams can be used in a variety of ways and are a practical choice for those who want to keep their bedding looking fresh and clean.
