Phantom Sun System Furniture
Phantom Sun System Furniture is an innovative and sophisticated furniture collection that exemplifies futuristic design principles through its integration of cosmic aesthetics and functional urban living solutions. Conceived and designed by Wang Lu in 2021, this comprehensive system furniture collection draws inspiration from natural phenomena such as daylight, sand dunes, and the interplay of light and color in space environments. The collection features distinctive elements including the Sword of Magic Sun metal handle design, which demonstrates the harmonious collision between imitation metal materials and contemporary color palettes to create a technological ambiance in living spaces. The system encompasses multiple coordinated pieces, including an expansive TV cabinet, sideboard, sofa back cabinet, fitness cabinet, and cloakroom, all designed with precise dimensions to maximize spatial efficiency while maintaining aesthetic cohesion. The design philosophy emphasizes minimalist principles through the careful removal of superfluous decorations, employing bionic technology fabric that replicates wood grain, stone grain, and hand-painted floral motifs, demonstrating a commitment to both environmental consciousness and contemporary aesthetics. The furniture system's distinctive characteristics include the strategic use of closed cabinet doors complemented by selective open compartments featuring colored back panels, addressing both storage and display requirements of modern urban dwellers. This exceptional design approach earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, acknowledging its innovative contribution to the field of system furniture design. The collection's implementation of deep metallic tones combined with bright sunshine colors represents a forward-thinking investigation into color theory, while the metallic panel gloss and dazzling acrylic elements reflect a youth-oriented aesthetic sensibility.
