Phantom Integrated Lamp is an innovative architectural lighting solution that seamlessly integrates into wall surfaces, creating a captivating optical illusion of a three-dimensional table lamp emerging from the wall plane. Designed by Alexey Danilin in 2021, this sophisticated lighting fixture draws inspiration from the ancient rock-cut architecture of Petra and the aesthetic principles of Byzantine Orthodox churches, combining historical reverence with contemporary functionality. The design exists in two material variations: a premium brass version and a more accessible gypsum model, both incorporating advanced LED technology with dual lighting zones - featuring wide-angle illumination from above and focused lighting from below. The fixture's distinctive characteristic lies in its ability to create a phantom-like appearance, where all functional components are concealed within the wall cavity, resulting in a striking visual effect that challenges spatial perception. The integration of a touch-sensitive control panel at the base adds a modern interactive element while maintaining the design's clean aesthetic.
