Petervary Multifunctional Piano Bench is an innovative and sophisticated musical instrument accessory that revolutionizes the traditional piano bench through advanced technological integration and ergonomic design principles. This smart piano bench, distinguished by its Iron A' Design Award recognition in the Product Engineering and Technical Design category, features a groundbreaking sliding mechanism that enables pianists to maintain optimal posture while reaching keys at the far ends of the piano keyboard. The bench's sophisticated design incorporates motorized height adjustment capabilities, allowing users to preset and automatically adjust their preferred seating position through either an integrated control panel or mobile application interface. Measuring 870 mm in width, 405 mm in depth, and featuring an adjustable height range up to 570 mm (790 mm with optional backrest), this 32-kilogram precision instrument seamlessly combines classical aesthetics with contemporary functionality. The design philosophy carefully balances high-tech capabilities with traditional piano bench aesthetics, featuring elegant lines and refined details that complement grand pianos while subtly showcasing its technological sophistication. The bench's innovative features serve multiple user groups, including professional musicians, instructors, and students, offering personalized ergonomic support through NFC tag recognition and automated position memory. The development process, completed in 2023, involved extensive research into user needs, ergonomic requirements, and manufacturing considerations, resulting in a serviceable design that maintains visual refinement by concealing mechanical components and fasteners.
