Pet Cone
A pet cone, also known as an Elizabethan collar or E-collar, is a medical device used to prevent pets from licking, biting, or scratching an area of their body that requires healing. The cone is typically made of plastic and is shaped like a truncated cone, with a wider base that fits around the pet's neck and a narrower opening around the face. This design prevents the pet from reaching the affected area while still allowing them to eat, drink, and breathe normally. Pet cones are commonly used after surgery, to protect wounds or incisions, or to prevent pets from aggravating skin conditions or hot spots. While pet cones can be effective in preventing pets from interfering with their healing process, they can also be uncomfortable and distressing for the animal. Some pets may refuse to eat or drink while wearing a cone, or may become anxious or depressed. As such, it is important for pet owners to monitor their pet's behavior while wearing a cone and to provide them with plenty of love and attention to help them feel more comfortable. In addition to plastic cones, there are also alternative types of pet cones available, such as inflatable collars or soft fabric cones. These may be more comfortable for some pets, but may not be as effective in preventing licking or biting. It is important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best type of cone for your pet's specific needs.

Pet Cone
Pet cone is an image composition technique used in anime, comics and manga for drawing character attire for necks. This technique is commonly seen in shojo manga, or manga aimed at female readers, and is used to emphasize the characters' innocence, purity and femininity. The pet cone consists of a high collar which is usually made from lace or other small fabric and is usually worn around the neck, with a bow or ribbon at the center. The fabric is usually a pale color, such as light blue, pink or white and can be decorated with additional elements such as flowers or small gems. Pet cones are not limited to just the neck area, but can also be used to accentuate other areas of the body.
