Personality Reshaping Propaganda

Personality Reshaping Propaganda

Personality Reshaping Propaganda is an innovative motion graphics animation project that explores the complex journey of personal growth and self-transformation through minimalist black and white visual storytelling. Created by designers Lu Zhao, Lin Huang, and Shiqi Mai between June 2020 and February 2021, this artistic work delves into the psychological aspects of human development, utilizing fragmentary elements and metaphorical imagery such as broken glass and reconstituted building blocks to represent the process of personal reconstruction. The animation employs sophisticated visual techniques to capture the delicate moments of transformation, focusing on themes of incompleteness, vulnerability, and the unlimited potential for personal growth. Through its conceptual approach, the work illustrates the temporal nature of human existence while emphasizing the possibility of self-regeneration through cognitive development and self-reflection. The design, which received recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Movie, Video and Animation Design category, masterfully combines motion graphics animation techniques with minimalist aesthetics to create a narrative that resonates with universal human experiences. The 1920x1080 resolution animation incorporates various symbolic elements to represent different emotional states, from passivity and confusion to struggle and exploration, creating a comprehensive visual metaphor for the journey of personal development. The work's significance lies in its ability to freeze-frame the crucial moment of reshaping, leaving viewers with space for contemplation and personal interpretation while addressing fundamental questions about human nature and the continuous process of self-improvement.
