Perez Celis

Perez Celis is a celebrated Argentine artist who has achieved international stature with his captivating works. His early works combined realism with the visual language of the constructivists and cubists. He used the geometric forms of constructivism in his artwork to create powerful images that commented on reality. His later works took on a more lyrical and abstract expressionistic style, yet he continued to combine visual elements of urban culture with the geometry of constructivism. Notable works by Celis include ‘La Noche’, ‘The Black Clothes’, ‘The Double’ and ‘The Lovers’.
