Penthouse Lisbon Residential House

Penthouse Lisbon Residential House

Penthouse Lisbon Residential House is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies contemporary urban living through its distinctive circular floor plan and extensive use of glass facades. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2022, represents a masterful integration of space optimization and natural light utilization in modern residential architecture. The design's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from spaceship aesthetics, featuring a unique central organization where multiple living spaces flow seamlessly from one to another, creating five distinct experiential zones within a unified space. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional attention to material selection, incorporating bronze semi-mirrored glass doors, carefully selected quartzite surfaces for durability, and specially engineered wood components to accommodate temperature variations. A notable technical achievement of the project lies in its solution to the challenging sloped walls, where custom on-site molding techniques were employed to ensure precise carpentry fitting. The design's sophisticated approach to lighting and color psychology is evident in the meticulous study of solar orientation's impact on material selections, from fabric choices to wood finishes and marble stone selections. The project's success in harmonizing practical functionality with aesthetic refinement is particularly demonstrated in its innovative storage solutions and the seamless integration of a bookcase into a sloped wall, achieved through precise on-site fabrication methods. This residential masterpiece stands as a testament to contemporary interior design's ability to overcome complex architectural challenges while maintaining an elegant, livable environment that maximizes natural light exposure from dawn to dusk.
