Peep Modular Screen is an innovative free-standing furniture design that masterfully combines traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary modular functionality, creating a sophisticated spatial partitioning solution. This award-winning design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category, seamlessly integrates the aesthetic principles of Chinese landscape painting and oil-paper umbrella craftsmanship into its conceptual framework. The screen's distinctive design features a series of adjustable frames constructed from powder-coated metal, copper, or chrome, complemented by translucent plastic surfaces representing mountainous forms and traditional Xuan paper elements symbolizing clouds, measuring 1500mm in width, 405mm in depth, and 1640mm in height. The design's modular nature allows users to customize and reconfigure the screen according to their spatial requirements, while its sophisticated interplay of positive and negative spaces creates an engaging visual dialogue that changes depending on the viewer's perspective, reminiscent of traditional Chinese garden design principles.
