Pebble Heater
Pebble Heater is an innovative heating system that combines natural elements with modern technology to create an efficient and aesthetically pleasing climate control solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces. This revolutionary design utilizes naturally formed and tumbled pebbles of various colors, sized between 7 to 10 centimeters, which are carefully arranged on 12-millimeter steel heating pipes after being precision-drilled with asymmetrical holes using water jet technology. The system's unique approach to heating incorporates an electrical resistance mechanism that warms the stones, while a small AC fan facilitates warm air circulation throughout the space. A distinctive feature of this design is its ability to address the common issue of air dehumidification typically associated with electrical heaters through an integrated water bunker in the metal chamber, which can also provide additional humidification through water spray when desired. The design, which won the Platinum A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, stands out for its space-efficient configuration and sculpture-like appearance, offering performance rates ranging from 1200 to 1800 watts and higher. Each unit is inherently unique due to the natural variations in stone patterns and arrangements, bringing an organic, customized element to an industrialized product. The design draws inspiration from traditional Anatolian coal stoves while incorporating modern SPA techniques, making it particularly valuable for its therapeutic potential and environmental consciousness. The system's innovative approach to heating combines functionality with aesthetic appeal, creating a sustainable and health-conscious heating solution that effectively utilizes natural materials while maintaining high efficiency and practical utility.
