Peaceful Bliss Dwelling Interior Design
Peaceful Bliss Dwelling Interior Design is an exemplary residential interior design project that embodies the harmonious integration of human-centric design principles with natural elements, completed in 2016 in Yilan County, Taiwan. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project demonstrates a profound understanding of environmental consciousness and local cultural integration, utilizing a thoughtful selection of natural materials including marble, raw wood, and slate to create a space that resonates with its surroundings. The design philosophy centers on the Chinese character for people, emphasizing a humanitarian approach that prioritizes user comfort and environmental harmony. The dwelling, spanning impressive dimensions of 31450x12050x11450mm, features strategically placed windows that optimize natural ventilation and views, creating a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. The project's distinctive approach to retirement living incorporates sophisticated considerations for Yilan's specific climatic conditions, particularly addressing environmental humidity through careful material selection and spatial planning. The design excellence is evident in its meticulous attention to local architectural traditions while introducing contemporary comfort solutions, exemplified by its thoughtful integration with the natural landscape and emphasis on sustainable design practices. This project, realized through careful self-build methodology, represents a significant achievement in creating a space that not only serves its functional purpose but also maintains a deep connection to its cultural and environmental context, earning recognition through the prestigious A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category.
