Passing Of Time Residential
Passing of Time Residential is an award-winning interior design project completed in 2020, located in the heart of Taipei City, that masterfully integrates barrier-free accessibility with luxurious aesthetics. The 400-square-meter residential space exemplifies thoughtful design through its innovative approach to combining functionality with sophisticated elegance, featuring carefully selected materials including rigid stone veneer, calm wood veneer, and soft leather finishes. The design philosophy centers on the concept of temporal flow, expressed through flowing lines, panoramic views, and the strategic use of premium materials such as marlboro marble flooring and distinctive stone skin wall treatments. The project stands out for its comprehensive barrier-free planning, which extends beyond conventional accessibility requirements to encompass all aspects of daily living, including optimized door widths, switch placements, and appliance heights, all seamlessly integrated without compromising aesthetic appeal. The interior's sophisticated design language is characterized by rounded corners, harmonious color combinations, and a careful balance between public and private spaces, while the innovative television wall in the master bedroom features a raising and lowering mechanism to preserve window views. This residential project, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to post-epidemic living considerations and aging-in-place requirements, establishing new standards for accessible luxury residential design.
