Park Signature Show Flat
Park Signature Show Flat is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully blends Chinese architectural elements with European design sensibilities, completed in 2017 in Chongqing, China. This 175-square-meter space, designed by M.S. Yu, D.D. Chen, H.N. Han, and Q.Y. Yu, represents a sophisticated reinterpretation of urban luxury living, earning recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design employs a refined color palette anchored by ivory base tones and traditional Chinese dark blue accents, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance. Notable features include the innovative use of modern materials in traditional Chinese screen applications, facilitating both spatial separation and visual flow. The loft-style layout maximizes spatial efficiency while ensuring optimal views from each bedroom, complemented by a distinctive terrace featuring unvarnished timber construction and black ironwork furnishings. The project's success lies in its thoughtful integration of contemporary design elements with classical Chinese aesthetics, creating an environment that caters to sophisticated urban dwellers seeking both luxury and authenticity. The design demonstrates particular innovation in its approach to spatial organization, material selection, and the harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western design elements, setting new standards for show flat design in the luxury residential sector. Located in the Ba Nan Longzhou Bay area, the project benefits from its proximity to Nanshan Mountain and surrounding parks, incorporating these natural elements into its design narrative while maintaining accessibility to urban amenities through nearby transit connections.
