The establishment, which garnered the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully integrates historical preservation with modern functionality across three distinct spatial sections, each representing different historical eras. The venue's distinctive entrance, disguised as a traditional toy shop, creates an element of discovery and intrigue while paying homage to the building's heritage. The interior design demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship through its use of recycled timber, traditional construction methods, and the careful preservation of pre-war architectural elements, including exposed original brickwork and natural cement treatments that reflect authentic Straits Chinese shophouse aesthetics.
