OTC Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of nature with contemporary workspace design, situated on the 20th floor of a 35-storey sail-shaped building. This distinctive 86-square-meter office space challenges traditional rectangular office layouts through its irregular polygonal configuration, utilizing sophisticated architectural elements to maximize functionality and aesthetic appeal. The design's cornerstone features include 280-centimeter maple arc walls that serve as primary spatial dividers, creating a fluid circulation pattern while preserving natural light penetration and exterior views. The material palette demonstrates a thoughtful commitment to biophilic design principles, incorporating slate tiles, maple and walnut architectural elements, and oak and rosewood furniture, complemented by strategic placement of indoor plants to enhance air quality and visual appeal. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases innovative space optimization techniques that maintain individual privacy while fostering an open, collaborative environment. The design successfully addresses the structural challenges of an irregular floor plan through creative space planning, ensuring that each area benefits from natural illumination and ventilation while maintaining functional efficiency. The integration of low-formaldehyde paint and natural materials reflects a conscious approach to creating a healthy indoor environment, while the combination of curved architectural elements and natural materials establishes a unique aesthetic that merges contemporary design with organic influences.
