Original Elements Of Life Hotel
Original Elements of Life Hotel is an exemplary boutique hospitality design project that masterfully integrates modern minimalism with traditional Chinese architectural elements, created by designers Xiaoping He and Xinglin Li. Located in Qingyuan, China, this 140-square-meter interior space demonstrates a sophisticated approach to contemporary hotel design through its thoughtful implementation of white spaces and natural wood elements. The design philosophy centers on the Buddhist concept of pureness, manifesting in an environment that promotes mental tranquility and spiritual refinement. The spatial composition features an open layout enhanced by strategic use of glass partitions, effectively dissolving conventional spatial boundaries while maintaining intimate zones for guests. The material palette, predominantly comprising oak, matt white latex paint, wood grain brick, grey floor tiles, and marble, creates a harmonious aesthetic that emphasizes simplicity and natural beauty. The design seamlessly connects outdoor and indoor spaces through a transitional home garden, offering guests a journey from traditional Chinese garden aesthetics to modern interior comfort. This innovative approach to hospitality design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and cultural integration. The project's success lies in its ability to create an environment that encourages guests to disconnect from urban chaos and experience a refined, contemplative atmosphere that promotes both physical and mental well-being.
